No one is
above the probability to commit a wrongful act, which is why we need to pray
and engage in conversations with others, offering encouragement and to believe
in possibilities. We can do a lot more than we think, if we try listening to
others and observing the behavior of an individual that is questionable.
If we look
closely at the things noted in paragraph 3 below, in the quote, we see some
symptoms of behavior that needs to be checked. This is not good behavior.
When we hear
of ‘good people’ committing wrongful acts that those who knew them, would never
have believed they were capable of doing – we then know that there is a
probability that such things can happen to anyone.
“For we
ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers
lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one
another.” _Titus 3:3 (K.J.V)
It is for
this purpose we shouldn’t judge others, but be ready to help friends and
relatives, by encouraging them to talk about things that might be troubling
them, before they become impossible to reach.
Questions:
If you knew of someone who were expressing some of the symptoms above, would you try to help them? If so, how would you approach them? How do you feel you might be able to help such an individual?
