Bible Verses:

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God, to the pulling down of strong holds.  II Corinthians 10:4

The Lord is my shepherd: I shall not want. Psalm 23:1

No weapon that is formed against us shall prosper: and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.  Isaiah 54:17

Source of information: King James Bible

“No weapon that is designed to use against me, shall succeed.
I will stand my ground: I will defend myself against all evil.
Through the power of prayer, I will gain victory!”

Peace is Never Accomplished by Holding Grudges

“The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.”
~ Mahatma Gandhi

Holding a grudge, is malice, it weakens an individual, and disallows room to forgive.  It preys on the mind of such an individual and grows as a terminal disease, until it consumes that individual’s entire body, mind and soul.  These individuals are unable to think soberly because they are consumed with bitterness, anger, wrath, and evil thoughts of plans to destroy someone else. This is the behavior that prevents us from having peace with our neighbors.

Grudge: a feeling of deep-seated resentment or ill will; syn. malice
Malice: desire to see another suffer, to cause pain, injury, or distress to another.
