The Mirror of My Soul

From within the mirror of my soul, God sees my complete makeup of who I am.
He hears my unspoken words, because he reads my thoughts.  Man judge me by my outer appearance, because he can not know me as God, know me. Man condemn me, for the things that God find to be justified of me. Man hates me, for the things God Love about me.

There is no secret or thought, I can keep from him. And there is no secret place I can dwell in to hide from him. Wherever I go, he is there. Therefore, he is forever present with me.

Father in heaven,
When I fall on my knees before you, please show me your grace and mercy. I need to know that sin, will not cause you to withhold the answer to my desires and needs that I request from you.   In my life, where I am weak, strengthen me, lead me in the way of righteousness, and guide my path with your wisdom. God help me to do the things that pleases you. Help me to feel compassion, empathy, and sympathy for others.   Amen

A New Life for a Greater Purpose

On that day you came into my life, you forgave all my sins.
You opened my heart, and breathed peace within.
There can never be a moment as sweet as this.

There can never be a moment like this.
There can never be a moment as great as this.
And there can never be a moment as sweet as this.

You cradle me in your arms, keeping me safe from harm.
Your angels are always near. There is never a need to fear.
You have given me a brand new life, a life that is free.

I am stronger than before.
My life shines so bright, I know there is hope in me.
I can feel the love of angels watching over me.

There can never be a moment like this.
There can never be a moment as sweet as this.
There can never be a moment as great as this.

Salvation is an opportunity for God and man to connect.
It is a way for man to reach his highest potential goals and become a better person whose character is pleasing to God.
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17
The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the Lord. Proverbs 16:1

Two Hearts That Beat as One

Sharing the same passionate love with another person, gives a feeling of being alive! The experience of something real, is unforgettable.

Love looks beyond what the human eyes see, far into the souls of two people; where it find comfort, joy, happiness and peace, that words cannot explain, and neither can the minds of others comprehend; that exist in a couple. There is nothing that can break the bond between the two people. It is the Power of love.

The words of King Solomon captures the feeling of the power of love.
“Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it.” King Solomon

The power of love is an amazing force that binds the hearts and souls of two people together, connected on a spiritual level as one soul.

Discussion on Relationships

Should a person invoke spiritual intervention for a soul mate?

Answer:
It isn’t necessary to pray for a soul mate.
What is recommended?
Top priority:  focus on living a righteous life and pleasing God:
Pray for God’s guidance and instructions in thought process and decisions to be made.
God adds desires and needs into the life of the person who meet the standard of his requirements without having to ask for them.
Scripture:  Matthew 6:33
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness;
and all these things shall be added unto you.”

Preparation for Receiving a Soul Mate
1.       Am I ready to share my life with someone else?
2.       Do I know how to handle responsibility?
3.       Is my financial income adequate?
4.       Am I ready to make a commitment to someone else?

Send Down Your Power Lord by Ellen J. Barrier

Is any among you afflicted? Let him pray. James 5:13

There comes a time in every life when the need for spiritual intervention is needed. No person is exempted. To receive answers to our request when we petition God, we have to understand his position of power. His authority to solve and to resolve any situation is far beyond our human abilities.

For with God nothing shall be impossible. St. Luke 1:37

For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. 1 Peter 3:12

Prayer in Times of Distress

“When all hope is gone and your back is against the wall, ‘Pray.’
Ask God to guide you and he will take good care of you.”

― Ellen J. Barrier

And when he was in affliction, he besought the LORD his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers, and prayed unto him: and he was entreated of him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the LORD he was God. 11 Chronicles 33:12, 13

Story:

Manasseh was the ruler of Jerusalem for fifty-five years. During his range he was described as one who caused the people to commit acts that were displeasing to God. Therefore, he and those who followed his leadership had been warned to correct their errors. And because of his disobedience, it was said “Wherefore the LORD brought upon them the captains of the host of the king of Assyria, which took Manasseh among the thorns, and bound him with fetters, and carried him into Babylon.” 11 Chronicles 33:11

My Thoughts:

In times of afflictions, whether, they are health related, or a condition whereby one feels they are imprisoned, they seek help.  Manasseh, did as many others do, he turned to the God who his ancestors trusted for help. He received help from God, and became a better leader. He corrected many of his wrongdoings. And because of the changes he made in his leadership, the people made some positive changes as well. When leadership is strengthened and governed with righteous behavior, the people are better for it.
