The Healing Effects of Music

From the biblical days to the present, music has strengthened its roots in our society. We use music to relax, to entertain and to uplift our spirits in times of unhappiness, and for many occasions. Music is therapeutic, because of the healing effects it has within the soul.

Can you imagine a party without music?

It would be boring to have a party without music to add a comforting effect within the souls of the guests. In today’s music industry, we have embraced all of the musical roots within our cultures and accepted it as our universal language.

The genres of music is welcome in society as; alternative, anime, blues, children  music, classical, comedy, country, dance, easy listening, holiday, Indie Pop, industrial, inspirational, instrumental, Jazz, karaoke, kayokyoku, Latino, new age, opera, pop, R & B, Reggae, rock, singer/songwriter,  soundtrack, spoken word, vocal and world music.

As a singer and songwriter, I enjoy listening to all of the genres and styles of music. Each artist has something special to offer the listener. It is all about the attitude and style of the artist that that holds the attention of the listener.

Two Hearts That Beat as One

Sharing the same passionate love with another person, gives a feeling of being alive! The experience of something real, is unforgettable.

Love looks beyond what the human eyes see, far into the souls of two people; where it find comfort, joy, happiness and peace, that words cannot explain, and neither can the minds of others comprehend; that exist in a couple. There is nothing that can break the bond between the two people. It is the Power of love.

The words of King Solomon captures the feeling of the power of love.
“Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it.” King Solomon

The power of love is an amazing force that binds the hearts and souls of two people together, connected on a spiritual level as one soul.

True Love Never Breaks a Heart by Ellen Jean Barrier

2014 Wedding Anniversary: Vows I made to my husband with songs and photos

True Love is steadfast and supportive: one that is never failing, a love that is willing to forgive, a love that never fears. It is a Love that is pure; and will always be clear.  It is guaranteed to keep passion in a relationship, because it possesses the souls and the hearts of two people and will not depart.

When a challenge confronts the relationship: True Love will defend its position in the hearts of two people that beats as one. The power of True Love cannot be broken. The relationship will never be open.

Broken hearts mends slowly; while a few never mends. And because of broken hearts, many relationships end. Not True Love, because it defends the hearts of two people who will never be apart. True Love never breaks a heart.

Discussion on Relationships

Should a person invoke spiritual intervention for a soul mate?

Answer:
It isn’t necessary to pray for a soul mate.
What is recommended?
Top priority:  focus on living a righteous life and pleasing God:
Pray for God’s guidance and instructions in thought process and decisions to be made.
God adds desires and needs into the life of the person who meet the standard of his requirements without having to ask for them.
Scripture:  Matthew 6:33
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness;
and all these things shall be added unto you.”

Preparation for Receiving a Soul Mate
1.       Am I ready to share my life with someone else?
2.       Do I know how to handle responsibility?
3.       Is my financial income adequate?
4.       Am I ready to make a commitment to someone else?

Magnetic Desire in a Relationship

Desire in A Relationship is like magnet; it draws two people together regardless of what others may do, or say. It is not about age, nor riches, and not even looks alone.

It is about how the two people make each other feel; that attracts them to each other.

The magnetic desire within two people wanting to be together, is too powerful for anyone to prevent.

How to hold on to that magnetic desire; is something that the two people have to continue to work on throughout their relationship or it will eventually cease to exist.

Making the other person feel important to you; holds the magnetic desire in a relationship.

Love is expressed. It is that special feeling that is felt that makes a person feel loved and needed. A special touch, and doing something that words alone cannot express, means a lot to that someone that needs to feel needed and appreciated.

A relationship has to be nourished frequently, in order to survive. It is not about buying expensive gifts, that would not inspire the meaning of Love, because Love is priceless. It is about the deep feeling that is rooted within the soul. It is about wanting to be with that other part of your soul, the spirit of the one whose heart beats with the same rhythm as yours. The presence of that special someone lives within your soul, two souls becoming as one.

I wrote the song "I Can't Live Without You" for my husband. We met at the age of 14 years. These are the words I wrote to him before writing the lyrics to the song:

"From the day we met at the age of 14 years, our love has grown throughout the years. It has been one of a spiritual force that will forever dwell within my heart. Our journey on this path has led us to marriage with a beautiful family. God has blessed us with profound happiness of two hearts that beat as one, and I Can’t Live Without You."

I Am His & He Is Mine

I Am His & He Is Mine
His mouth is most sweet; yes, he is altogether AWESOME!
The soft spoken words that he whispers in my ear, and his gentle touch, assures me, I am safe when he is here.
When I am in his arms, I have no need to fear.
I am his, and he is mine.
Our love will stand throughout the end of time.

Love Is Not a Game

Being in a relationship with the person you don’t love, simply for the mere sake of having someone in your life; to fulfill your needs is wrong. This is selfish and uncaring behavior toward another human being, who has emotions.
This is a player’s game.  And such game is a gamble. Someone always get hurt.
Remember, No one wants to be played for a fool. The players will lose.

Your love, I hold within my heart; each heart beat strengthen it even more.
As each day pass, my love for you, grows stronger than the day before.
Love has joined our hearts together.

True Love

True Love looks into the souls of two people, and finds its way into their hearts to stay.
True Love is a spiritual force that binds two hearts, and two souls, together as one

We Were Meant for Each Other

Our love is unlike any others.
God gave us one soul, and one heart,
so we would never  be apart.

Within your eyes, I see myself.
And within my eyes, you see yourself.
We exist, because of each other.
And we both know; there will never be any others.

I was meant for you, and you were meant for me.
This is how our love came to be.

Our love is the light shining within one soul, and one heart
that beats with happiness of a love that will always be true.
You were meant for me, and I was meant for you.

There will never be any others; that could come between us and separate
our heart. We were created by God. He gave us one soul, and one heart
so that we would never be apart.

Romance Love and Its Effects on The Hearts

"Happiness is never found in materialistic things; it exists in things that cannot be physically possessed. Therefore, happiness is priceless. It can never be purchased."

Love is an exciting spiritual and uniting force that binds and connects two hearts and souls together as one, in a way that only the two individuals know they are meant to be together.

Romantic novels, movies, and songs details the effects of love and stirs emotions that leaves the listeners and viewing audiences wanting more!

Readers of romance novels keep the writers busy.  Love looks beyond what the human eyes see, and far into the souls where it finds comfort, joy, happiness and peace, that words can't explain and neither can the mind comprehend in two people. It can cause individuals to leave their families miles away; crossing cities, states, and countries to be in each others arms and presence.

There are effects Romance Love has on the heart that can be harmful if it is not carefully assessed continually, by each individual. It means that each person has to carefully examine themselves to see if they are doing everything to improve on their relationship. The pitfalls come when one person takes on too much responsibility.

In Romance Love, there is no place for the role of a parent. Which means; never criticizing the other person; never talking down to the other person; allowing the other person to be their own individual; and to have some time alone.

Honesty, is the strength in a good relationship. Lying, can tear a relationship apart.  Romance Love has to be nourished and pampered with the things that keeps the flames of fire burning in the hearts and souls of the two individuals. Romance Love can be as strong and as powerful  in our very own relationships as those we know of in novels, movies and songs.

Still I Rise
by Maya Angelou

You may write me down in history
With your bitter, twisted lies,
You may trod me in the very dirt
But still, like dust, I'll rise.

Does my sassiness upset you?
Why are you beset with gloom?
'Cause I walk like I've got oil wells
Pumping in my living room.

Just like moons and like suns,
With the certainty of tides,
Just like hopes springing high,
Still I'll rise.

Did you want to see me broken?
Bowed head and lowered eyes?
Shoulders falling down like teardrops,
Weakened by my soulful cries?

Does my haughtiness offend you?
Don't you take it awful hard
'Cause I laugh like I've got gold mines
Diggin' in my own backyard.

You may shoot me with your words,
You may cut me with your eyes,
You may kill me with your hatefulness,
But still, like air, I'll rise.

Does my sexiness upset you?
Does it come as a surprise
That I dance like I've got diamonds
At the meeting of my thighs?

Out of the huts of history's shame
I rise
Up from a past that's rooted in pain
I rise
I'm a black ocean, leaping and wide,
Welling and swelling I bear in the tide.

Leaving behind nights of terror and fear
I rise
Into a daybreak that's wondrously clear
I rise
Bringing the gifts that my ancestors gave,
I am the dream and the hope of the slave.
I rise
I rise
I rise.
