Romance Love and Its Effects on The Hearts

"Happiness is never found in materialistic things; it exists in things that cannot be physically possessed. Therefore, happiness is priceless. It can never be purchased."

Love is an exciting spiritual and uniting force that binds and connects two hearts and souls together as one, in a way that only the two individuals know they are meant to be together.

Romantic novels, movies, and songs details the effects of love and stirs emotions that leaves the listeners and viewing audiences wanting more!

Readers of romance novels keep the writers busy.  Love looks beyond what the human eyes see, and far into the souls where it finds comfort, joy, happiness and peace, that words can't explain and neither can the mind comprehend in two people. It can cause individuals to leave their families miles away; crossing cities, states, and countries to be in each others arms and presence.

There are effects Romance Love has on the heart that can be harmful if it is not carefully assessed continually, by each individual. It means that each person has to carefully examine themselves to see if they are doing everything to improve on their relationship. The pitfalls come when one person takes on too much responsibility.

In Romance Love, there is no place for the role of a parent. Which means; never criticizing the other person; never talking down to the other person; allowing the other person to be their own individual; and to have some time alone.

Honesty, is the strength in a good relationship. Lying, can tear a relationship apart.  Romance Love has to be nourished and pampered with the things that keeps the flames of fire burning in the hearts and souls of the two individuals. Romance Love can be as strong and as powerful  in our very own relationships as those we know of in novels, movies and songs.

Stand Up For Something!

"When you take a stand against injustice that has been inflicted upon
innocent people, there will be those who will hate you for it."
__Ellen J. Barrier

The laws of justice are as strong as the characters of men and women who create them. And of those who enforce them.
When we stand up for something to defend it against injustice; there will be others who will resist us.
And there will be those who will want to keep things as they are that they have benefited from.  Regardless, of how it has hurt others, they see justice in it for themselves, and will fight to hold-on to it.

All of the great men and women that came before us, have paid a great price for standing up and speaking out against injustice treatment of innocent people, including Jesus Christ, the Son of God. If the people did it to these great men and women, they are certainly going to go after everyone who stands up against injustices.

Quotes from others:
“You have enemies? Good, that means you stood up for something.” ― Eminem

The greatest revolution of our generation is the discovery that human beings, by changing the inner attitudes of their minds, can change the outer aspects of their lives.
~ William James

As we continue on our journey within this path for peace with our neighbors regardless of their nationality, sexual agenda, economical status, religious beliefs, denomination, or whatever our difference of opinions with each other might be; God loves us all, and he will judge each of us by his standards, and not by the laws of man.

The End of Time

And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth, lifted up his hand to heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven and the things therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, That there should be time no longer.

And the Seventh Angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a voice out of the Temple of Heaven, from the throne, saying, "It is Done."

Another Chance

How We Pray Determines How God Will Answer.
When we pray to God, and thereby, petition him, it is not within our judgment to analyze how or when,  he should grant our request, or to use our knowledge, to interject our opinion on the subject matter, that we are petitioning him about, when we are praying. Neither should we listen to others who are giving their opinions.

We must stay steadfast in prayer and focus on the fact that, God is supernatural, and with him all things are possible.
Gabriel said, “For with God nothing shall be impossible.”
St. Luke 1:37
In the case of Zacharias; he had been praying for a child. When God was prepared to grant his request, he used his knowledge to interject his opinion, which was irrelevant. And found out that this is a defiant act with God. And there is punishment that will follow.  Zacharias, didn’t believe that God was qualified to give him a child at the time God had chosen to do so.
Like most people, if the answer doesn’t come in the time they want it to, they give up. This is what Zacharias, had done. His mind wasn’t allowing him to look beyond the human’s educational process, and see the supernatural powers that God possesses.  Because he doubted God, he was punished. God took away his speech.  (St. Luke 1:21-25 & 57-64)
Scripture: James 1:67
But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like the wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man (person) think that he shall receive anything of the Lord.

God's Sacrificial Offering to The World

In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion. Deliver me in thy righteousness, and cause me to escape: incline thine ear unto me, and save me.  Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress.
 Psalm 71: 1-3

Why Did God Choose Jesus for His Sacrificial Offering?

And   I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it; But I found none."
Ezekiel  22:29, 30

Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
Then said I, Lo, I come in (the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
Hebrews 10:5,6,7

Religious Bullying

Ellen J. Barrier

Religious Bullying
The religious bully is one who is self-righteous. He or she feels morally superior above others. This is an individual who doesn’t feel guilt when having committed a sinful act. They sit in the seat of judgment against others according to their religious beliefs. They use certain biblical words to defend their position based on the way they believe things should be, that are contrary to common sense.
The religious bully is a danger to him or her own selves, and to others, because they place themselves in a position that they feel is godlike, and therefore, they are disconnected to God.
When the religious bullies start toting bibles and placing themselves in leadership positions, they become a powerful and evil force against society that is very dangerous, because out of their organizations hatemongers are reproduced. They don’t like anyone who disagrees with their philosophy.
The hatemongers desire is to destroy, and to harm those who they feel is unclean, or unworthy to exist.
The danger to these particular individuals and to others; they’re tuned in to a spirit that they believe is God, who is speaking to them and telling them the right things to do. Whatever they hear, they believe and there is no one who can convince their leader nor their followers that they are wrong..
What the Bible Says:
For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believeth.
Romans 10:2-4
Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works?  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Matthew 7:21-23
But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment:  Matthew 5:22

God's Love For The World

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not  perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world: but that the world through him might be saved.

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Character Assassination

Ellen J. Barrier

There are those who are out to get you, one way or the other with their hate.  They will assassinate your character and think nothing of it, while smiling in your face and pretending to be your friend.

When you hear some bad things that have been published about  you, it's someone who you know. Why do they do it? Jealousy, is a close relative to hate, that can never be disconnected.  Many people will not only assassinate an individual's character, they will assassinate that individual due to hate.

When I read, "Still I Rise"  written by Maya Angelou, the words of King Solomon, came to thought. "Jealousy is the rage of a man" noted, King Solomon (Proverbs 6:34).

There are those who are jealous of something someone else has that they want, or another individual's success.  Some people are jealous of other people' looks.
There are a whole host of things people are jealous of that inspire them to hate.
Jealousy and hate are spiritual diseases that destroys the human's whole being. They are capable of destroying innocent people in large numbers just as deadly germs are. Such people who are possessed with jealousy and hate are deeply stressful, and that stress wears and tear down the body's immune defenses and eventually destroys the mind and the health.

Regardless, what others may say about you, because of jealousy and hate, or what ever, "Still I Rise" are very powerful and encouraging, to continue to reach for greatness and excellence, for higher heights, because you have worked too hard and made too many sacrifices, as well as your parents and those who have had positive influences in your life to give up. You too must keep rising.

Still I Rise
   by Maya Angelou

You may write me down in history
With your bitter, twisted lies,
You may trod me in the very dirt
But still, like dust, I'll rise.
Does my sassiness upset you?
Why are you beset with gloom?
'Cause I walk like I've got oil wells
Pumping in my living room.
Just like moons and like suns,
With the certainty of tides,
Just like hopes springing high,
Still I'll rise.
Did you want to see me broken?
Bowed head and lowered eyes?
Shoulders falling down like teardrops,
Weakened by my soulful cries?
Does my haughtiness offend you?
Don't you take it awful hard
'Cause I laugh like I've got gold mines
Diggin' in my own backyard.
You may shoot me with your words,
You may cut me with your eyes,
You may kill me with your hatefulness,
But still, like air, I'll rise.
Does my sexiness upset you?
Does it come as a surprise
That I dance like I've got diamonds
At the meeting of my thighs?
Out of the huts of history's shame
I rise
Up from a past that's rooted in pain
I rise
I'm a black ocean, leaping and wide,
Welling and swelling I bear in the tide.
Leaving behind nights of terror and fear
I rise
Into a daybreak that's wondrously clear
I rise
Bringing the gifts that my ancestors gave,
I am the dream and the hope of the slave.
I rise
I rise
I rise.

Are you worshipping your Faith? Or Are You Worshipping God?

Ellen J. Barrier
Everyone who takes the position of a Spiritual Leader has a responsibility that is a high calling above all professions, because their obligation is to serve all people regardless of their faith, or gender. He or she isn’t in the position to render judgment or punishment, based on religious beliefs, but to serve the people in the manner of the things that every human being is required to have - based upon their birth given rights by the creator of all things.

God is not bias and neither is he racist. Those who practice such behavior are condemned by him.

The Responsibility for all Spiritual Leaders:
“THEREFORE seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; but have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the Word of God, deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s (person’s) conscience in the sight of God.”
11 Corinthians 4:1, 2 (K.J.V)

When  Spiritual Leaders hear those who they know using the Word of God or Faith in a crafty or deceitful fashion, they should condemn this kind of behavior. Such behavior is condemned by God. Therefore, it should be condemned by his Spiritual Leaders, because he will turn his wrath upon the person who practices this behavior.

The Words of God are to be used for the purpose of good, and not for evil. His Words are holy. God is a Spirit. His Words are spiritual. We worship him from within our spiritual being. We should use his words to give comfort, healing, hope, and peace in times of need.  Some people say they are worshipping God, but we discover they are worshipping their religion instead.

Love Your Parents

Ellen J. Barrier

This wall photo, is shared by my good friend, Ethel Mae Nelson.
I told my friend, Ethel, that these few words says a lot. There is a lost connection between many of our parents and their children.  Without love, there can never be a connection. Some children talk to their parents as if they were their children. They have no respect, for their parents. I heard one young man say, that he seldom visit his parents, because he doesn't "have anything in common with them."

I know of a family who wanted their elderly mother to hurry up and die, so they could go on their vacation. She was very ill. She had spend all her time caring for her disabled husband, with the help of nurses, until he passed away.

The grandson, had attacked his grandfather, and beat him. His grandmother told me, their grandson, got angry at his grandfather, because he wouldn't give him money, and he beat him. She said with sadness, "We had to put a restraining order on him. He can't come here anymore. Our grandchildren used to visit us a lot, but they don't come anymore." She told me about how they enjoyed the times they spent with their grandchildren, when they were very young.

We have to know that, if children don't respect their parents, how are the grandchildren going to behave toward their grandparents?

"Love  Your Parents. We Are So Busy Growing Up, We  Often Forget They Are Also Growing Old."

"This is profound. Wish I had thought of it when my parents were still living."

Philippians 4:4-7

4. Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.
5. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
6. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with
thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

You Are Not Alone

My son, Keith, gave me a beautiful box, with this inspirational writing on the top. It is very special to me. I have had it, for several years. I would like to share it, with you. There are times in our lives, when it seems that our burdens are too heavy to carry. And that we are alone, and no one cares.

My hopes are that, this inspirational writing will uplift, and give hope, to those who are feeling alone, and that no one cares about them. Below, is a scripture to help add some sunshine in your day. May God bless you much!

Footprints

On night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand; one belonged to him, and the other to the Lord.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life.

This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it: “Lord you said that once I decided to follow you, you’d walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints.  I don’t understand why when I needed you most you would leave me.”
The Lord replied, “My precious, precious child. I love you and would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.”

I will lift up mine eyes  unto the hills, from whence cometh  my help.
My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.

Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

Facts of Life

Ellen J. Barrier

I am so impressed with the wisdom behind these writings, shared by Tee Turner. I want to give many others the opportunity to view them. Also, this young man is very talented in writing. I hope you will enjoy these writings as much as I have.

Tee Turner

I'm at a very pivotal point in my life where I'm starting to be ok with some people not being in it or so important to me as they used to be. I believe when you start to mature and grow to a higher place in God some people aren't meant to go to the next level with you. Maybe its cause they are hanging on trying to help me fall or speculating when am I going to fall lol. See at every new level there is a new devil with new tactics and new tricks. And I don't need any distractions. So I'm sorry to inform you but "News Flash" my steps are ordered and I'm taking each step carefully. So if it seems as if I have began to distance myself from you, believe its not you (well maybe it is); but really I'm just going down my to do list....
#SearchingForGreater GN FB

When you begin to say that your situation is hopeless, you are slamming the door of opportunity in the face of God. When you begin to give up on yourself you begin to give life to your problem. At this moment your situation has become victorious over you. Don't let your situation overtake you this is not the purpose of your problem. The purpose of your problem is to build your spiritual character. So understand God is doing more for you than that problem can do to you......
.# YourGreaterThanYourIssues

Never allow someone to become your Priority when to them your only an Option! This to me is a form of Manipulation. If someone Truly Loves you the option to manipulate you doesn't even exist in their heart. See True Love shows itself when Manipulation leaves the room. So instead of making them your Priority you have the Option to Prioritize your own Destiny. Just a little background scripture for The Bible readers Matthew 6:33....

Be Proud of Who You Are

Ellen J. Barrier

Too often, most people, work hard at being who they feel, someone else wants them to be. To be proud of who you are, is to like who you are. Don't change who you are, for someone else. It is impossible to please people. Either they will like you, or they will hate you. Most people spend their time criticizing others any way, rather than examining their own faults. So, I agree with this writing, shared by Cecilia Smith. "I am proud of who I am. And, therefore, I am proud of being me. If you are proud of being you, let others know."

Cecilia Smith

I might not be someone's first choice, but I am a great choice. I may not be rich but I am valuable. I don't pretend to be someone I'm not, because I'm good at being me. I might not be proud of some of the things I've done in the past, but I am proud of who I am today. I may not be perfect but I don't need to be. I am me. Take me as I am, or watch me as I walk away!!! Post this on your page if you are proud of being you..

Send Me an Angel

Ellen J. Barrier

Send Me An Angel
by L. Dianne Malone

Merciful Father, hear my plea
Send an Angel here for me
One to take charge everyday
to guide me as I walk your way

Send me an Angel from on high
from far beyond the clear blue sky
For sometimes Father - you know the day
The color changes; sometimes its gray

In his hands he'll bear me up
while I drink from your cup
If my foot dashes against stone
He'll remind me I'm your own

My Angel's truth will be my shield
as he leads me to waters still
When I seek a hiding place
He'll spread his wings - my fortress is made
