From the biblical days to the present, music has strengthened
its roots in our society. We use music to relax, to entertain and to uplift our
spirits in times of unhappiness, and for many occasions. Music is therapeutic,
because of the healing effects it has within the soul.
Can you imagine a party without music?
It would be boring to have a party without music to add a
comforting effect within the souls of the guests. In today’s music industry, we
have embraced all of the musical roots within our cultures and accepted it as
our universal language.
The genres of music is welcome in society as; alternative, anime,
blues, children music, classical,
comedy, country, dance, easy listening, holiday, Indie Pop, industrial,
inspirational, instrumental, Jazz, karaoke, kayokyoku, Latino, new age, opera,
pop, R & B, Reggae, rock, singer/songwriter, soundtrack, spoken word, vocal and world
music.
As a singer and songwriter, I enjoy listening to all of the
genres and styles of music. Each artist has something special to offer the
listener. It is all about the attitude and style of the artist that that holds
the attention of the listener.

In times of distress, and stressful situations, when burdens become heavy, and difficult to carry, due to heartaches, loss,
hopelessness, and such things that bring pain and sorrows, we search for comfort through
prayers. Our friends and love ones are there to offer their support that gives
us strength to move forward.
Songs of praise with prayers and thanksgiving are made to God on
our behalf; asking him to intervene and give us his blessings of grace and
mercy, and guide us through the storm.
In times of sickness, we pray for healing.
In times of financial loss, we pray for prosperity.
In times of losses, we ask God to restore.
We Pray to God in our times of need, because we believe he answers prayer.
Hope is a friend, who never fails me. When I am in need, it allows me to know I can succeed.
When the way ahead of me, is obscured with clouds of
disappointments Hope goes before me, and shines the light to see my way
clear.
When I need courage, hope
pushes me ahead with the strength I need to persevere, and
let me know, there is no need to fear. In times of doubt, hope tells me I can, because it is here.
Hope gives me determination, and strength to believe in
myself that I can do whatever I desire. I am inspired to know, that regardless of the situation
and wherever the
location, or destination, I have hope.
Hope is my friend,
who will always be with me, to the end.
“Hope is the foundation for which all successful goals are
built upon.”
Before Jesus came to sacrifice his blood for the sins of males
and females, the people would kill an animal and use its blood to pay for their
sins, but they continued to sin.
Scripture:
For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not
the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they
offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. For then
would they not have ceased to be offered?
Because that the worshippers once
purged should have had no more conscious of sins.
But in those sacrifices there is no remembrance again made
of sins every year.
For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats
should take away sins. (Hebrews 10:1-4)
The Coming of Jesus Christ to Save Man from Eternal Death
was Prophesied Long before He Came
Wherefore when he came into the world, he said, Sacrifice
and offering you would not, but a body have you prepared me: In burnt offerings
and sacrifices for sin you have had no pleasure.
Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book,) it is written of me, to do your will of God. (Hebrews 10: 5-7)
Why Was Jesus Christ Chosen to Become the Sacrificial Offering
for Man’s Sins?
God’s first choice was to sacrifice a man from among the
people on earth, to offer his blood in the place of an animal. The man had to
have not sinned. The search for such a
man was not found:
And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the
hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy
it: but I found none. (Ezekiel 22:30)
Man’s Sins are Cause for the Wrath of God
Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I
have consumed them with the fire of my wrath:
their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, said the Lord, GOD. (Ezekiel
22:31)
The People Bad Behavior Is Condemned by God
When we carefully read the bible, we find that sin is
repeated in every generation, and that as time passes, the conscious of man
become more defiance with God. That in return, angers God and we see the destruction
of his wrath, poured out upon earth through disasters from nature.

For both prophet and priest are profane; yea, in my house
have I found their wickedness, said the LORD. (Jeremiah 23:11)
Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy
things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have
they showed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their
eyes from my Sabbaths, and I am profaned among them. (Ezekiel 22:26)
Her prophets have
daubed them with untempered mortar, seeing vanity, and divining lies unto them, saying thus said the Lord GOD, when the LORD have not spoken. (Ezekiel 22:28)
The people of the land have used oppression, and exercised robbery,
and have vexed the poor and needy: yea, they have oppressed the stranger
wrongfully. (Ezekiel 22:29)
World Leadership and the Laws of the Land are at Fault
Her princes within her are roaring lions; her judges are
evening wolves; they gnaw not the bones till the morrow. Her prophets are light
and treacherous persons: her priests have polluted the sanctuary, they have
done violence to the law.
(Zephaniah 3:3, 4)
Woe unto you also you lawyers! For you lade men with burdens
grievous to be borne, and you yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your
fingers. Woe unto you, lawyers! For you have taken away the key of knowledge:
you entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in you hindered.
(Luke 11:46, 52)
Her princes in the midst thereof are like wolves ravening
the prey, to shed blood, and to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain. (Ezekiel
22:27)
The Conclusion:
But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the
angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor; that he by the
grace of God should taste death for every man. (Hebrews 2:9)
For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of a
heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies to the purifying of the flesh:
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the Eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from
dead works to serve the living God?
And for this cause he is the mediator of the New Testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first Testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. (Hebrews 9:13-15)
For this is my blood of the New Testament, which is shed for many
for the remission of sins.
Sharing the same passionate love with another person, gives
a feeling of being alive! The experience of something real, is unforgettable.
Love looks beyond what the human eyes see, far into the
souls of two people; where it find comfort, joy, happiness and peace, that
words cannot explain, and neither can the minds of others comprehend; that
exist in a couple. There is nothing that can break the bond between the two
people. It is the Power of love.
The words of King Solomon captures the feeling of the power of love.
“Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown
it.” King Solomon
The power of love is an amazing force that binds the hearts
and souls of two people together, connected on a spiritual level as one soul.

Is any among you afflicted? Let him pray. James 5:13
There comes a time in every life when the need for spiritual intervention is needed. No person is exempted. To receive answers to our request when we petition God, we have to understand his position of power. His authority to solve and to resolve any situation is far beyond our human abilities.
For with God nothing shall be impossible. St. Luke 1:37
For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. 1 Peter 3:12
I never thought I could find a friend in you_until you rescued me.
In times of trouble_You are my defense.
When I'm discouraged, and weak_
You are my hope and strength.
I never thought I could find a friend in you_ until you rescued me.
You crowned my head with wisdom, knowledge_ and faith, and sent your holy angel to take good care
of me. I never knew I could find a friend in you_
until you rescued me.
"I Want
to Feel Your Power Today" is a cry to God, when one is in desperate need
to hear from him. I have been in desperate need to hear from God, many times. I
was sitting at my keyboard, one day, and needing very much to hear from him. At
the time I was singing this song, I was expressing my emotions to God. I had no
words written. I wrote the words after recording the song, when I decided to
share it public. Those who have heard this song, testifies that it
"Relaxed and calmed" them. My call to God was heard. He is a great
and awesome God!
There comes a moment in time in the life of everyone, that something will occur that is too much of a burden to carry. These are the moments when we seek a power that is beyond what any human can provide. Regardless of who we are, or what status we hold, no one is exempt.
In times of a serious sickness, tragedy or loss, we each has a desire and need to be comforted in our whole being, in a way which medicine cannot accomplish. And neither can it be provided by any physical means.
The spiritual being, understands that it has a creator. Therefore, in times of distress, it automatic seeks the comfort of its creator. In the book of Job, it is stated by the writer himself, who was terminally ill, "The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life." In his moment of desperation, his deepest desire was to hear from God. And he sought him for comfort.
The Words of Job:
Even today is my complaint bitter, my stroke is heavier than my groaning.
Oh that I knew where I might find him! that I might come even to his seat!
I would order my cause before him, and fill my mouth with arguments.
I would know the words which he would answer me, and understand what he would say to me.
Will he plead against me with his great Power?
No, but he would put strength in me.

(An S.O.S Call to God)
Sometimes life seems so unfair.
There are times we ask, Why?
Lord, I do know that your love is forever.
So, when you seem so all alone_
Just remember, that God answers prayer.
The answer lies in your heart, and it lies within your soul.
So, whenever you feel the need to ask, Why?
Just remember, that God answers prayer.
Our God, answers prayer, and he knows your every need.
He understands your feelings, and he knows all your needs.
So, whenever you feel_
feel like giving up sometimes,
and you feel like your back is against the wall, there's just no way out.
Just remember, our God answers prayer, and he knows your every need.
He understands your feelings, and he knows all your needs.
The answer lies in your heart, and it lies within your soul.
So, whenever you feel the need to ask, Why?
Just remember, God answers prayer.
Dear God,
This is an S.O.S call to you. This is another day I've awaken to find a heavier burden to bear.
I realize this burden is too heavy for me to bear, so I come to you in so much pain and shame.
Lord please answer this prayer.
My enemies oppress me daily, they criticize me Lord, and scandalize my name. Now, they seek to destroy me.
Lord, I have nowhere to run, and no place to hide.
I know that jealousy, hate, and wrong doings have made me a prisoner and a slave to sin.
They brought me here to this lonely and fearful place, and there is no way out for me.
I heard about a man, named Jesus, who died for me. And that the blood from his wounds, and the pain in his body, and the shame, and suffering he endured on the cross for me, was a sacrificial offering for all.
Jesus, Jesus, God, please show me your mercy Lord, show me your mercy Lord, show me your grace Lord.
Father, please let the blood that Jesus shed clean my soul, and let it free me from this prison.
Father, please remove this burden, and defend me against my enemies, that seek after my soul.
They seek to destroy me Lord. Please answer this S.O.S call.
Jesus, I thank you for the blood, that you shed for me. I can feel your love all around me.
In my heart, I know that you are here.
And I know that your angels are watching over me.
I thank you Jesus, for sacrificing your life for all.
And God, I thank you, for answering my S.O.S call.
Amen.

"When you
take a stand against injustice that has been inflicted upon
innocent people,
there will be those who will hate you for it."
__Ellen J.

The laws of justice are as strong as the characters of men
and women who create them. And of those who
enforce them.
When we stand up for something to defend it against
injustice; there will be others who will resist us.
And there will be those who will want to keep things as they
are that they have benefited from.
Regardless, of how it has hurt others, they see justice in it for
themselves, and will fight to hold-on to it.
All of the great men and women that came before us, have
paid a great price for standing up and speaking out against injustice treatment
of innocent people, including Jesus Christ, the Son of God. If the people did
it to these great men and women, they are certainly going to go after
everyone who stands up against injustices.
Quotes from others:
“You have enemies?
Good, that means you stood up for something.” ― Eminem
The greatest revolution of our generation is the discovery
that human beings, by changing the inner attitudes of their minds, can change
the outer aspects of their lives.
~ William James
As we continue on our journey within this path for peace
with our neighbors regardless of their nationality, sexual agenda, economical
status, religious beliefs, denomination, or whatever our difference of opinions
with each other might be; God loves us all, and he will judge each of us by his
standards, and not by the laws of man.
And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth, lifted up his hand to heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven and the things therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, That there should be time no longer.
And the Seventh Angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a voice out of the Temple of Heaven, from the throne, saying, "It is Done."

And when he
was in affliction, he besought the LORD his God, and humbled himself greatly
before the God of his fathers, and prayed unto him: and he was entreated of
him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his
kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the LORD he was God. 11 Chronicles 33:12, 13
Story:
Manasseh was the ruler of Jerusalem for
fifty-five years. During his range he was described as one who caused the
people to commit acts that were displeasing to God. Therefore, he and those who
followed his leadership had been warned to correct their errors. And because of
his disobedience, it was said “Wherefore the LORD brought upon them the
captains of the host of the king of Assyria, which took Manasseh among the
thorns, and bound him with fetters, and carried him into Babylon.” 11
Chronicles 33:11
My Thoughts:
In times of
afflictions, whether, they are health related, or a condition whereby one feels
they are imprisoned, they seek help.
Manasseh, did as many others do, he turned to the God who his ancestors
trusted for help. He received help from God, and became a better leader. He
corrected many of his wrongdoings. And because of the changes he made in his
leadership, the people made some positive changes as well. When leadership is
strengthened and governed with righteous behavior, the people are better for
it.

The individuals who look for ways to avoid focusing on the storm, and the destruction it left behind, but rather on a greater future, can dance in the rain, during the storm. Such individuals have learned to endure and persevere through the storms of hardships. They are those who possess happiness.
"Happiness is when the body, mind, and soul experience
a sense of complete wholeness."
Happiness is never found in materialistic things; it
exists in things that cannot be physically possessed. Therefore, happiness is
priceless. It can never be purchased.
The Storms of Life
During the hardships of life that attacks unexpectedly, upon
all human beings; There are those who believe in a spiritual force that is higher, who
has all power and authority over every situation; in his wisdom, they place
their trust. Therefore, they are much stronger than the hardships they
encounters. This allows them to search
for new ideas, and to find new ways to improve their life. They don’t stop and
wait for life to get better; they persevere in spite of the difficulties they face.
They keep working despite the hardships; to find ways to make
their life better, during the attacks they encountered. They set a goal before them for each attack
they encountered. Due to the way they
chose to deal with the hardships they encounters, their goals are victorious ones.
*Because they never stop to focus on the negative, but
rather the positive, they are able to enjoy life.
Regardless of the attack, which may be upon one’s health,
finances, personal life, or whatever the hardship maybe, that is as challenging
as any storm that leaves destruction within its path, the individual who look
for ways to avoid focusing on the storm, and the destruction it left behind,
but rather the future, can dance in the rain, during a storm.
